Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

Part-time positions are available for our before and after-school staff we call our Educators!

  • Starting Date: Immediate
  • Pay Range: $15-$17 (depending on years of experience working with kids in a group setting)
  • Schedule/Hours: On-Call/As-Needed Role- Available Monday through Friday between 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 1:40 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday. This is great for college students with limited availability during the week. 
  • Location: Inside the Del Valle Schools

Required:
  • Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • Background Clearance completion will be required
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group-type setting


Ideal Candidates will have the following:
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group-type setting
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

Requirements:
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare/school setting
  • First Aid and CPR-in-person (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Cleared tuberculosis test (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Proof of MMR (if required for documentation)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Proof of High School diploma/GED required

Job Requirement
THE RIGHT FIT FOR THIS ROLE:
  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field is a PLUS
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements
  • 18 years of age of older
